Bad experience. I am not sure what I did, but someone got offended and everyone started to give me the cold shoulder when dropping off my daughter. Ignoring, no greeting, nasty looks. The teacher I 'liked' and my daughter 'liked' began complaining that I don't leave paperwork home and that I don't give feedback (but their form just says to mention any concerns...I didn't have any). In between dealing with employment issues, father's Alzheimer's disease and possible breast cancer...I don't have time for this level of extreme immaturity and pettiness from a 'professional' organization. I opted to remove my child from this center (especially considering I am not present to see how they are treating her and I got a report she was pushed by another child). I am extremely disappointed and just bewildered. They are returning my deposit, but not refunding me half of what I paid for the month. An extremely miserable experience. They should have a psychiatrist on staff!
I have a seven year history with El Primer Paso. I first learned of them through my involvement with Kiwanis. Then I became a Board member. My children "grew up" there, and when the second one officially graduated from preschool, I felt like I was graduating too. I cannot say enough good things about El Primer Paso. From the Board to the staff to the volunteers and community supporters that make everything possible at this school, every moment spent here was a gift. Thank you. I recommend this school to every young child I know. My children are thriving students today because of the start they had at El Primer Paso.
