Mission: The organization's mission is to improve the standard of living for all residents of the mohawk valley through various services that will educate and empower them and to achieve awareness among the different cultures of the mohawk valley. The organization strives to shape the minds of our youth and demonstrate the great local opportunities for their success.
Programs: The organization developed collaborations with the english and american citizenship center, energy credit union and vita tax preparations and interpretation assistance. The organization was the first to offer free interpretation, translation and transportation service to the community through cdbg funds. In addition, it collaborated with the local newspaper to publish more content about and including the latino community and community events. These initiatives are enhancing the cultural footprint of the latino population in the community. The organization continues to provide cultural events such as hispanic heritage month, the latino festival, gala and christmas party. It also held cultural dances and made presentations at various events, providing access to low income youth for these.
