Mission: Mobilize. Org empowers and invests in millennials to create and implement solutions to social problems.
Programs: Mobilize. Org summits - two to three convenings per year that engage members of the millennial generation to discuss the issues that they face within their communities, work collaboratively to propose solutions and compete for seed funding to incubate millennial-led projects that address those issues. "millennial voice" - are opportunities for mobilize. Org staff and those in our networks to speak and/or attend in person and online convenings on behalf of the millennial generation. These opportunities include speaking engagements, panel discussions or attendance at partner convenings to learn, have a dialogue, or speak about millennials issues. Leadership development - are two new programs launched in 2012 in order to provide leadership development opportunities for the mobilize. Org network. The first, the mobilizer academy, equips millennial leaders from diverse backgrounds with the skills and resources they need to become entrepreneurial and civic leaders. The academy is an in-person and virtual program designed to train millennials to realize their leadership potential and create and implement successful social ventures to address community needs. The second, the speakers bureau, provides 6 months of public speaking and marketing training and support to help the millennial participants be able to share their stories and speak to a diverse cross-section of audiences across the country.
