This is a wonderful organization for the disabled. It gives them a sense of pride and accomplishment. It recognizes and displays their awesome abilities in the field of baseball. We came late to this organization. But we were so happy to have been a part of the group, even for a short time. Everyone involved is kind and helpful. Many volunteers are involved in the whole process of organizing and executing this unique program. I've never found anything like this in my daughter's 40 years. Sadly, we moved north. I can't find anything besides Special Olympics, which is limited yearly. They deserve recognition.

This has been a blessing for my daughter... Giving her the confidence she needed to get out of the house and get involved in sports with her community. Everyone has been fantastic and so very helpful. Each player is made to feel special, and it shows with their smiles. The coaches, the buddies, the announcers and the organizers have done an excellent job bringing this great sports event to our families. I hope more people find their way to join in the fun we all have.
All skill levels are welcome. GO TEAMS!!
My grandson has been a participant with Miracle League of San Diego since 2010. I can not rate this organization any higher due to their professionalism, excellence in providing services and social opportunities for at risk and disabled children.
This program which is locally run is a bright spot in our live as family with a child with special needs. It lifts our spirits and creates community where everyone understands -- no apologizing for behaviors or feeling embarrassed is needed. Miracle League of San Diego is consistent in the delivery of a positive, well-organized experience year after year.
Our daughter was a buddy for the same player for almost ten years and the experience definitely was life-changing for her. She developed self confidence, her own voice, and a true sense of purpose. She even chose to pursue a career in special education because of her years volunteering at the Miracle League of San Diego. We couldn’t be more impressed with the organization.
The Miracle League is an amazing organization. This is our first year of being buddies to baseball players with special needs. The difference that is made in the lives of the athletes and buddies is indescribable. There’s a culture of acceptance, pride, and camaraderie not found anywhere else. Everyone’s lives are touched by this experience.
I have been part of Miracle League for over 12 years. I have had the opportunity to see the children grow by being able to play a sport we all love. It is also wonderful to watch the buddies interact with the players over each season as they become lifelong friends.
The Miracle League fields in San Diego are the happiest place to be on a Saturday in the Spring and again in the Fall.

What an amazing organization! The joy felt by the kids while playing baseball each week is incredible. Something so simple and taken for granted by many, a simple game of ball on a team is something these kids will
never forget. This experience is made possible by Miracle League of San Diego, their dedicated staff and the generous and caring buddies provided for each player! Come see a game and be forever changed!
The Miracle League is truly a miracle for our family. My son is now in his 3rd season with Miracle League. He gets so excited each week knowing that he gets to play baseball on a team. These games are some of his happiest moments. I can't say enough about the amazing work the coaches and buddies contribute to our wonderful kids with incredible and inspiring abilities.
We have tried so many sports and have never found such an amazing fit. Every single person in this organization treats these kids with amazing respect and kindness. When my son started he refused to hit the ball, didn't want anybody looking at him, got upset if anybody cheered for him. Now he hits the ball on his own, makes sure his buddy is keeping up and cheers for friends.
The Miracle League of San Diego is, and has been, a Godsend to the Greater San Diego area young people who have different physical, emotional, and sometimes mental needs than are broadly experienced in the general community. Many of the Miracle League participant athletes have situations and challenges that require a curated solution and outlet. The Miracle League of San Diego, with its unique and specialized ballfields, baseball equipment, advisors, coaches, and buddies, provides opportunities for these young people to experience the thrill and adventure of taking on the game of baseball in a safe, discretely designed, and positive way and space. The satisfaction seen on the faces of players, coaches, buddies, and parents, is nothing short of amazing. With limited outlets available to address the needs of these challenged young people, the Miracle League, with its specialized fields, equipment, and all types of volunteer personnel is a very deserving organization and 'team' that brings out the best in not only these challenged children, but also in the coaches, buddies, advisors and other volunteers. The opportunity to have the availability of ballgames in both the Spring and Fall Seasons avails this resource to be of continuing value to the community now, as it has been for its some 15 years of existence.
My son's been playing ball with Miracle League for 12 years. It's well organized, friendly, super supportive, and someplace I can always count on to make us happy. The buddies are incredible, as are the coaches.
As a teacher who works with students with disabilities I appreciate organizations like Miracle League of San Diego that provide extracurricular opportunities for students to pursue their interests and interact with others. My colleagues and I emphasize the importance of keeping active inside and outside of school, particularly after one graduates or ages out of a public education. Organizations like Miracle League of San Diego provide those essential opportunities for people with disabilities.
