Mission: The milpitas economic development corporation, inc. (edc) is dedicated to developing, preserving, and protecting the quality of life and cultural diversity for all of milpitas residents while maintaining high quality public services in partnership with our citizens. The edc is created to continue the redevelopment and revitalizing of the city by improving and enhancing the social, economic, and physical environment of the community. The priority of the edc is to continue the goals of the redevelopment agency act on behalf of the redevelopment agency of the city of milpitas to create a dynamic and desirable business and shopping environment.
Programs: The purpose of the corporation is to continue the redevelopment and revitalizing of the city by improving and enhancing the social, economic, and physical environment of the community.
