I find it concerning that this organization mandates heartworm prevention documentation for past pets, including those that have passed away. Failure to provide this information results in a permanent rejection from their adoption process. Furthermore, the communication I experienced was dismissive and lacked clarity regarding the rationale behind their policies. While I recognize the importance of preventative care for animals, it raises questions as to why an individual would be permanently barred from adopting if they are genuinely seeking to rescue rather than purchase from a breeder. Regrettably, I cannot endorse such practices within this organization. It appears that they hold a dismissive attitude toward individuals who do not align with their proposed measures, overlooking the diverse qualities and strengths those individuals may possess.
The volunteer who handled my application called my veterinarians office demanding three years worth of vaccinations however I had only been there for a couple of years and forgot to put my old veterinarian on the application. Rather than asking any follow up questions of me they insinuated to my veterinarian’s that I’m a a neglectful and abusive fur baby parent. She was super rude and judgmental to my vets office staff. . It’s unfortunate as the pup I was going to adopt was $300 but I was prepared to donate an additional $1000 plus supplies to their rescue but really they’re more interested in making people feel like they’re animal abusers. I do not recommend getting a rescue from this rude horrible group of females.

Our requirements to adopt are clearly stated on our application. We normally give the applicant an opportunity to provide any missing information prior to denying an application.
My vet said they were very demanding for records even of past dead animals.
One of several overly intrusive groups that proport to be rescue groups but interrogate like the FBI.
Its sad. We ended up finding a schnauzer boy at a different rescue.
I can not recommend.
