Programs: The Art Effect helps youth in the Hudson Valley explore, experience, and excel in the arts, introducing them to visual arts and media, giving them the opportunity to develop real skills in these fields, and guiding them towards achieving their academic and career goals. Programs include arts-based workforce development (Spark Studios and MADLab); year-round arts classes for all ages; advanced artistic development for college preparation (The Art Institute); an apprenticeship media production program (Forge Media); and expressive arts therapies for at-risk populations (Arts for Healing). Our youth become creative thinkers and leaders who can build bright futures and bring about positive social change.
