Mission: To promote and engage in remembrance research and education concerning the nazi holocaust.
Programs: Citywide holocaust essay contest: a contest for 8th through 12th grade students to commemorate the holocaust and is designed to address the common core education standards.
holocaust education curriculum: training in holocaust history andeffective instruction was provided for a cadre of teachers, withthe goal of preparing them to incorporate this into theirclassroom curricula and to train colleagues in sound methods ofteaching the holocaust. Additional courses and web-based teachingresources are offered to educators.
community programs: various community programs open to the publicto provide historical and social education about the holocaust andto honor its victims.
