Mission: To help build the microfinance market infrastructure by offering data sourcing, benchmarking, and monitoring tools, as well as specialized information services on and for the various institutional actors who make up the microfinance industry.
Programs: Microfinance information exchange (mix) delivers dynamic data, detailed analysis, and actionable intelligence to financial service providers (fsps), investors, and policymakers, allowing enhanced decision making and increased transparency. Mix provides tools to help users explore, investigate, and uncover opportunities to reach underserved communities while identifying areas of risk and oversaturation. Over the past decade, mix has built and refined the digital infrastructure necessary to reduce reporting burdens so fsps can focus on their mission of reaching the 2 billion adults who remain unbanked.
