Causes: Art Museums, Arts & Culture
Mission: The museum brings art and people together for enjoyment, discovery, and learning. We strive to create a place where people of every background can be touched by art. We are committed to exhibitions and programs that will strengthen and sustain our community.
Programs: The art museum provides art and art history instruction classes in partnership with various schools throughout east texas, including early child-hood children to college and university students. Programs and tours can be interactive or hands-on, as requested. The michelson continues to provide summer art classes throughout the summer months to students of all ages (at no charge to the students).
