Mission: The mission of more2 is to create racial and economic equity through grassroots organizing efforts that engage congregations in forging regional solutions to the most pressing problems of the metro kansas city area.
Programs: In 2013, metro organization for racial and economic equity celebrated many accomplishments. The highlights include holding an event called healthy congregations inside and out to broker healthy resources from the community to 23 area congregations; facilitating leadership training for fifty of the organization's members; preventing a plan that would decimate kansas city public schools from being implemented; and ensuring broad participation from the faith community in advocating for issues of racial and economic equity.
