As a school counselor, I appreciate immensely organization that help kids who are compassionate about the needs of others, about kids who enjoy helping others. Such is this organization. In addition, they set aside money every year to aid students financially in their college quests. We have had two recipients the last two years. Both Univ of Missouri aspirants are doing quite well; ALKC's financial efforts have enabled them to pursue physical therapy and atmospheric science respectively as career options. I am grateful on behalf of these students for the opportunity afforded them by this organization who puts the best interests of students at the forefront.
