Mission: The metro community provider network is the safety net for medical, dental, mental health and community-based services to over 42,000 individuals living at or close to poverty in suburban denver.
Programs: 1. Medical access and care to the underserved: mcpn provides medical access and care to the medically underserved, including the homeless population, living in arapahoe, jefferson, adams, douglas and park counties. These services include immunizations to children, well child care to children, well women care to women, prenatal care to women and families, diabetic care to adults, and cardio-vascular disease management to adults. 2. Dental care for the underserved: dental care is one of the most neglected components of health care and is one of the most needed services for mcpn patients. Mcpn's program specializes in pediatric care including the relief of pain and dental hygiene / well care for on-going dental health. 3. Community service programs: as a community health center, mcpn is committed to the development of community-based programs which enhance the quality of health and improve the quality of life in the communities we serve. To that end, we have launched a number of community service programs. Some examples are homeless outreach and intervention services, parenting and child-rearing programs, adolescent services, and workforce development programs.
