Nonprofit Overview
Mission: Mbedcs mission is to be a permanent capital resource in broward county and to indirectly contribute to the creation of jobs for low to moderate income individuals.
Programs: Metro broward economic development operates a community development loan fund, and a small business incubator program. During the fiscal period ending9/30/2013, we made 13 new loans totaling 339,343, and serviced a portfolio averaging 18 loans valued at approximately 634,000. We provided resources and technical assistance to our incubator clients and small business owners in broward county resulting in over 1,100 hours of business mentoring and coaching.
