Mission: Metec's mission is educating families and individuals to improve their financial well-being through housing counseling, credit counseling, home ownership, financial literacy, employment preparation and free tax preparation.
Programs: Metec assisted more than 3,000 families and individuals with housing counseling services and employment programs. 1700 participated in financial education workshops and employment training. The down payment assistance programs and financial education helped 80 families purchase homes. This put more than $5 million in home sales back into the community for low income families. The employment assistance program provided sercies to 300 households.
