Behind the scenes, auxiliary members serve quietly but confidently, knowing that their efforts make a difference to this community. Volunteers also have an important role in enhancing life on the messiah village campus. From transporting residents to rehab and salon appointments, to planting flowers and pet visits, volunteers' generosity of giving time and talent impact nearly every aspect of life at messiah village. In the fall of 2016, 260 older adults registered for programs participating. A total of 38 courses were offered. The spring 2017 semester brought 47 courses with 245 total registrants.
