This place would be good if they hired staff that was more qualified to carry out there mission. My stay was uncomfortable, filled with drama and little empathy.
I learned of Mercy House through a friend that was taken in as a teenager and provided stability as she transitioned into motherhood. I love that these young women are taken in without question or judgement thus staying true to the mission of providing single, pregnant women with a safe and faith-based nurturing home. I have followed Mercy House for several years now and enjoy reading the stories of several women this ministry has empowered. Needless to say, they have been changing lives for 25 years now.
As an annual donor, I am honored to witness the positive impact that Mercy House Ministries has throughout our community. The unyielding display of love & meaningful relationships built are unfounded. So grateful that Mercy House serves as a place to call home & an entryway to new beginnings!! ❤️
I joined Mercy House Ministries 25 years ago as a client and my life was forever changed. I received a safe place to stay, assistance with finishing my education and resources including medical assistance and counseling during my time in the program. After giving birth, Mercy House continued to support me as I transitioned as a new mother by providing me with a free vehicle, and helping me find affordable/safe housing. I cannot imagine what my life would be like had God not provided a way through Mercy House, its donors, volunteers and supporters. Twenty-five years later, this ministry continues to grow and fulfill its purpose which is to support women in need and save the lives of these precious babies. Today I serve as a Board Member and am thankful to be part of a ministry that continues to pour into women who will receive God’s promise. Thank God for Mercy House and its supporters!
I currently serve on the Board of Directors for Mercy House Ministries. I was first introduced to Mercy House by a friend in 2017. I volunteered with the ministry at the beginning to help them find a permanent home for the residents. At the time the ministry was renting 2 homes. We did in fact find a great home for the ministry to purchase and remodel in order to serve the clients (single pregnant women). It has been a great success to have the women working and living together in a safe, beautiful, Christian environment to begin the journey of turning their lives around and becoming a mother. After my initial time volunteering, I was asked to join the board of directors. I love working on the board to help this ministry offer the hope, housing and help they need in their journey of motherhood. It is so rewarding to touch lives in a way that leads them to Christ, help them obtain education, work, and personal responsibility in order to provide for themselves and of course their child. As we know - Give and you shall receive. I pray that our work continues to touch lives and offer love to those who feel alone and need support.
I have followed Mercy House for 25 years. They have stayed true to their mission and served so many women in need with compassion and real practical help. Lives have been saved and changed forever because of the love in this wonderful place.
Mercy House literally saved my life.
When I came to Mercy House nearly 21 years ago, I came from a very tragic situation involving incest.
My child was conceived from those circumstances. My father was very violent and my child and I would have died had we not found a safe place to live.
Mercy House didn’t just provide me with a safe place to live, medical care, and food; but the wonderful staff there taught me how to live again, feel again, be a mother, be a human again, and love again.
I am eternally grateful.
I currently have three grown male children who are the greatest blessings I could ever ask for.
I am now working for No Trafficking Zone, an anti trafficking organization. I also speak in front of congress and help in aiding bills being passed that protect children.
Mercy House truly was the beginning of my life. The friendships, lessons, and memories I’ll never forget. I’d recommend 10 out of 10.
Mercy House is an excellent organization providing holistic support to women and babies with no options and few resources. They are truly making a difference and sharing the love of Christ every day!
Ive been a fan of Mercy House for over 10 years now. I love it because it so faithfully ministers to and equips pregnant women and young mothers to keep and care for their babies. Love never fails; and there’s loads of it at Mercy House!
I KNOW THAT MERCY HOUSE HAS HELPED SO MANY YOUNG WOMEN AND CHILDREN WHEN
THEY MOST NEEDED IT.
THEY DON'T JUDGE THEM-THEY HELP THEM.
A friend of mine shared this ministry and their cause with me. I was immediately drawn to their purpose and delivery. For some time, we followed their journey and their shared stories. Some time later, we were hooked and began donating monthly. My next wish list item is to volunteer and hold those babies. Please, do yourself a favor and spend some time learning what they do, why, and how. Incredibly inspirational and awe-inspiring. Love watching these mamas learn, grow, and succeed!!
