I was diagnosed with prostate cancer March of last year 2024 one month before my 70th birthday After going to a period of denial and disbelief, I started doing some research and needed to find people who had experience with this type of situation. I was given Tom’s number of the North Texas cancer coalition to speak with Tom encouraged me to come to the meeting and it really helped to be able to surround myself with people who are currently going through the same thing or had experienced this previously and had very positive results. Thanks again Tom for all your help I will continue to support your organization into hopes that may help somebody in the future.

This place would be good if they hired staff that was more qualified to carry out there mission. My stay was uncomfortable, filled with drama and little empathy.

Burchell development foundation assisted my son to complete his bachelor's degree without the burden of student loan. Having experienced the hardship of repaying student loan I knew this was not something I wanted my son to experience. I also wanted to be helpful in assisting other families with their children's educational journey. As such I have remained a facilitator who has witnessed the contributions of the foundation in supporting the success of dozens of students through secondaryand tertiary education. The foundation has helped students financially at really critical times during their studies. It also fosters Christian values across denominations and the stewardship of students giving of their time and skills to others of greater need than themselves. The Burchell Development Foundation continues to support the students, families, communities and country of Jamaica in our effort to become better human beings and contribute positively to the world.

The Gladys Foundation truly has a heart for the community and goes out of the way to help those in North Texas. I love volunteering with them, and getting to be a small part of the difference they are making in this community.

Our daughter has attended Waypoint since she was 3 years old and is now in 4th grade. We love the Montessori approach to education and it has worked well for our daughter. She has loved each of her guides and enjoys working with the Montessori materials. She has learned so much in her time at the school and has developed a real love of learning. The school has a beautiful campus and devoted staff. I would recommend this school for anyone looking for a true Montessori education for their children.

Born and raised Jewish in the Bible belt was challenging. I had christian school friends witness to me about Jesus, and some where mean about it and told me I was going to hell if I did not believe in Jesus. I was a very good girl, and I thought if God would send me to hell, when I had seen what mean "Christian kids" did, I wanted no part of that salvation. But a few christian classmates started to pray for me, and let me know they loved Jewish people and prayed for Israel. I said the best prayer I had ever prayed as a teenager..."God, if I need Jesus to go to heaven, please show me". Over the next five years I kept running into "love-filled" Christians. I finally received Jesus as my Messiah at age 22 yrs old and have served God as a Jewish believer for the last 40 yrs. I tried to witness to my Jewish family, but they were hostile towards the message coming from me. So I have been praying God would send others to witness to them. God showed me it did not take anyone in my family to lead me to Jesus, and the message did not have to come from me to reach them. So I pray daily my family will come to know Messiah before they die, and we will be together forever in heaven. This ministry "One for Israel" may be one of the ways my Jewish family may hear the message in a way they can receive it to find what I have found so long ago.

Empowering Children, Women, and Parent through Education!<br><br>Volunteering at my son's school, working with parents and children at the library, communicating with women everywhere made me realize that our communities don't receive enough education. I started thinking about my children's future and I realized that I need to do something. <br><br>I started by reaching President Obama, State Representatives, Senators, County Representatives, School Board, Non Profit Organization, Parents to promote a better education for all of us, for our kids and adults, for our community, for everyone.<br><br>I am advocating right now for Preschools, Smaller Sized Classes, Child Development from Birth, Second Language in Elementary Schools, Help for the Children and their Parents with low knowledge of English, Help and Advance Learning for Teachers, Education for Parents, Nutritional Education, Disease Prevention. Most of all I am using my time to develop and to help our State to adapt new programs to Empower Women, Children, Parents.<br><br>Many people I am working with to make this possible for our State are very supportive. And I was excited to receive and email from President Obama saying that I am working towards the right direction, that he is thankful for people like me who are trying to do more for our future, and that this will definitely help our children, parents, anyone.<br><br>I do Believe that this is what our State needs, our Country need. It will prevent diseases, will help parents connect better with their children,our community to work for our own future, teachers to be more effective, reduce bullying, grow responsible children, stop domestic violence, and much more.<br><br>Sometimes I get tired, I am moving forward for the better future for my children, and for every child in the world, for women, for parents, for us!<br><br>Even though it is not yet and organization, it will soon be!I am working right now on establishing it. The name will be Heart to Heart!

Do Not do business with these people. They ordered trophies from my shop for 2 years and the first year, Larry did not pay me for 9 months. He kept giving me excuses that he was out of town and didn't have his card with him, Ejay was going to handle it, etc. He didn't pay till he wanted to place an order again. In 2010, they place another order and I gave them the benifit of the doubt (stupid me) and accepted their excuses of why they kept from paying the invoice up front till I had no choice but to order parts for their order, even though they were stalling on payment or risk not having the product ready on time. Ejay called me while he was on his way to pick up the trophies and said he had forgotten the company check and Larry was on aplane so he couldn't get authorization to use a credit card. I refused to release the order without payment and even offered to come in on a day we are usually closed to accomodate them if he was able to get the check or aproval to use a card. They stiffed me for a $1400 order and because of how they acted I have a feeling they were intending to pick up the awards and not pay for them. I STILL have these sitting in my shop and I cannot send them back to the vendor because they are no longer in the packaging because they have been assembled. I feel bad for the kids most of all because I'm not sure if they recieved anything for their hard work. I should have been smarted and not trusted them with their track record. Vendors BEWARE!
