Causes: Chambers of Commerce & Business Leagues
Mission: Merchant risk council is a merchant-led trade association focused on uniting online retailers, card companies, law enforcement agencies and solution providers to make electronic commerce more safe, efficient and profitable. We lead industry networking, educational programs, benchmarking and advocacy programs that involve all of our constituents globally.
Programs: Merchant risk council (mrc) hosted their annual e-commerce payments and risk conference in las vegas in march 2017. This conference welcomed leaders and professionals from around the world; all collaborating to improve electronic commerce and make online transactions more efficient, safe, and profitable. Mrc also hosted successful conferences in spain, atlanta and vienna. In addition, mrc provided numerous webinars and other educational opportunities for members. It coordinated industry benchmarking studies in its principal subject areas of fraud, payments, and security, as well as surveys on hot issues during the year.
