Mission: Masonic charities of maryland ("mcm") is a health and human services organization with particular emphasis on providing services and programs to the youth of maryland. Mcm focuses its efforts through two programs, the student assistance program ("sap") and a high school scholarship program. The mcm pinoeered the institution in maryland of the sap, which is a drug, alcohol, and abuse intervention and education program that operates in primary and secondary public schools throughout the state. Mcm established the initial training and has provided significant funding for the sap since the program's inception.
