Causes: Education, Scholarships, Scholarships & Student Financial Aid
Mission: The purpose of the marine corps avaiation association is to: 1)promote and recognize professional excellence in marine corps aviation; 2)support the fraternal bond of its membership; 3)preserve marine corps aviation heritage; 4)safeguard the future of marine corps aviation through awards programs, events, and publications. The purpose of the john glenn squadron, in addition to those of the marine corps aviation association, is to foster and encourage the relationship between marine corps aviation, the naval aviation acquisition and test communities, our industry partners, and the local community. The foundation has assumed the educational scholarship program of the squadron and focuses exclusively on it as a means to facilitate this relationship between marine corps aviation, the naval aviation acquisition and test communities, pir industry partners, and the local community.
Programs: Promote excellence in marine aviaation as well as cooperation and interaction between marine and navy personnel, and corporate members and retired personnel. Eleven scholarships were awarded to the following individuals: michelle beaulieu 5,000 anna staats 5,000 curtis aaron 4,000 joseph crawford 4,000 dominic ichnioski 4,000 rylee young 4,000 anna weber 4,000 _________ total 30,000
