Mission: The manatee chamber foundation has been established for the advancement of education and understanding of economics, matters of public concern, finance, housing, human relations, problems of minority groups, science and technology, economic planning and development, international relations and other subjects related to improved efficiency, development and acceleration of both the quality and quantity of economic growth and employment opportunities through any activity which tends to promote understanding, unification or improved relationships between different economic or ethnic groups.
Programs: Leadership manatee is designed to expose current and future leaders to all aspects of manatee county. The program's purpose is: to identify community leaders of diverse backgroundsto develop their potential and desire to accept civic responsibilities and leadership roles. To expose community leaders to the problems and opportunities that face manatee county. To build a realistic understanding of leadership in today's complex society. To open a dialogue among emerging and current community leaders. To acquaint leaders with the processes, programs, opportunities and challenges for individual involvement in manatee county.
