I have been helping this charity for 2 years now, and I still find this organization amazing! Founded by a Swiss artist who by the chance of life ended up in Vietnam helping the poor, the orphans and the severely disabled. Although each one has his/her own share of problems being a street kid or abandonned child or paralyzed from the chest down, they live together as brothers and sisters in a shelter. Those who cannot live in the shelter are offered free schooling, health care and learn a trade so that they can work again in society and become self-sustainable. The vision that you can restore health, security and dignity to the most destitute is not only a possibility but a reality in Maison Chance. I wish that other NGOs will learn from this experience and expand the concept of diversity in their charity works.
