Mission: The Machickanee Players was founded in 1983, by Vicki Bostedt, her dream to give to the community a touch of humanity. Several others felt that this was a worthy cause and volunteered their time to produce the Mp's first production M*A*S*H. This was done at the local high school. The Mp has since that time relocated to their home on Park Avenue. The sum of the members have changed since that day. But the dream, the need to give to the community quality live theatre is still present.
