Mission: The corporation is formed primarily to produce legitimate theatre presentations, to develope artists and to produce educational programs for young adults in the field of classical drama, music, improv and theatrical technology. A summer acting camp was run for participants of los angeles drama club, a 501(c)(3) organization.
Programs: The lyric theatre foundation leases a 99 seat theatre located at 520 north la brea blvd. In los angeles, california and stages theatrical and musical productions. In addition to staging its own productions, the foundation makes its space available to other companies for purposes of staging theatrical and musical productions. The lyric theatre foundation has provided a venue to teach disadvantaged youth the elements of acting and theatre for a number of years. A summer acting camp was run for children of drama classes, l a drama club, a non profit. Starting in 2012, the lyric foundation began conducting an artist development program meant to develop musicians and artists in los angeles who might not otherwise have the opportunity due to lack of resources.
