Mission: Lutheran Services for the Aging is a ministry of the North Carolina Synod of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of America. We strive to express God’s love in Christ to those we serve by:providing multiple services for seniors including nursing care, adult day care, and retirement living; ministering to their needs in traditional and innovative ways; and demonstrating responsible stewardship.

Programs: Lutheran services for the aging, inc. (lsa) is the parent organization for thirty-one affiliate corporations. Lsa is a social ministry of the evangelical lutheran church in america operating in north carolina. Founded in 1960, lsa now has nursing homes in salisbury, hickory, albemarle, wilmington, winston-salem, and clemmons; an assisted living facility inclemmons, retirement communities in arden and salisbury, and an adult day services program in salisbury. Lsa also offers geriatric care management, home care, and information and referral services. In hickory, lsa collaborates in sponsoring lutherhaus, a low-income senior housing project and has provided support to adult lift programs, an adult day care program there. Lsa provides a ministry of christian care to those seeking services regardless of faith, disability or economic status.
