Mission: Fur Purries, founded in august 1990 out of a need for asssitance with finding new homes for the ever increasing number of unwanted cats in rural areas. It eventually grew to add other types of animals including livestock, and wildlife. Fur Purries is compromised entirely of volunteers that have been trained to assist with our mission and provide quality care for the animals at any one of our foster homes or shelters. in addition to a wide variety of fund raisers, FP's staff provide an on going public education program, to assist all pet owners current or prospective in proper animal care and the prevention of cruelty to any animals.
