Causes: Education, Parent & Teacher Groups
Mission: To support the education, health and welfare of our students.
Programs: Lowell pta provides grant funds across a variety of categories to improve the education, health, and welfare of children at lowell. Grants include: reading resources grants, teacher grants, music enrichment grants, math enrichment grants, library enrichment grants, art enrichment grants, principal grant, bridges support grant (for special needs students), physical education grants, building support grants, emergency shed supply grant, recess & rainy day room supply grant, kids in need grant, and playground equipment and groundskeeping grants. In addition, lux design donated groundskeeping services in the amount of $637. 50 for 25. 5 hours of rearranging plantings at the school entrance, pruning, weeding, spreading mulch over the playground for improved safety, and hauling weeds away.
lowell pta coordinates and funds programs and events that enrich the education, health and welfare of children at lowell. Programs include before and after school enrichment such as: choir, drama, visual arts, chess, geography, martial arts, basketball, robotics, strings, and math olympiad. Events include field trips (including special trips for 3rd-5th grades), speakers & assemblies, young authors' conference and science fair.
lowell pta offers family engagement activities including a welcome picnic, lowell round-up dance, bike to school day, as well as publishing the school family directory and end of year memory book.
