Causes: Human Services, Senior Centers, Seniors
Mission: Hot meals for seniors and community involvement to relay information concerning everyday needs of our senior citizens. The community has in the past helped to support the financial needs for the group but now we are on our own to find the assistance with financial needs. The center has the only library within a 15 mile radius and 4 community computers for the North end of Weld county. This provides training and knowledge to those who cannot afford an internet connection or printing or faxing or training for job applications. and training. Health care information and services. We are needed and contribute over 12,000 hours of volunteer hours and in kind donations to this senior center and library.
Results: Served and provided over 1,500 hot meals to Seniors and citizens for minimal to no cost. Served community of 5,000 with computer use and training. Kept seniors in touch with services and commodities.
