Living Hope is a safe haven for women in need. I have witnessed a great transformation of these women both spiritually and physically. The foundation embraces every aspect of life and gives the women a sound footing in which to start a new life.

I volunteer at Living Hope and help with transportation needs of the residents. What a blessing this ministry is to our community's young women and children who find themselves in need of a safe haven to grow! Cindy Smith, director, has set up a strong, Christian-based regimen for the residents to follow and the goal is to provide a life-changing experience for each woman to become independent and to grow spiritually closer to God. Amazing things have happened, are happening, and will continue to happen at Living Hope!

I am the director and founder of Living Hope Transitional Homes. Living Hope provides a loving secure environment for women and their children in transition from homelessness to stable independent living. The families can stay for up to a year while pursuing their goals and learning life skills. We have been impacting the lives of these families for over five years. During this time we have helped over 70 women and children work hard to reach their goals of self sufficiency. With a lot of love and support from the community around them many have succeeded in completing their G.E.D., finishing job training, growing in their relationship with God and move into their own housing. These families had no hope or plan of how to lead a productive and successful life before coming to Living Hope. Living Hope and the community around us are making a difference in the lives of the homeless women and children we serve.
