Mission: Launched in 2005, the Literary Freedom Project is an arts organization based in the Bronx that understands the significant role cultural identity plays in the development of intelligent, creative, and engaged communities. These qualities are crucial for the sustenance and strengthening of cultures and can be nurtured through a blend of academic, vocational, and pleasure reading. By linking cultural identity to reading, a fundamental foundation for the growth of smart, creative, and engaged communities can be established.

I'm a longtime supporter of this important organization. Literacy is a key to freedom and the Literary freedom Project has been handing those keys out for a long time. They deserve more of our support.
