Mission: Lindsay Wildlife Museum’s mission is to connect people with wildlife to inspire respect and responsibility for the world we share.
Programs: Wildlife Rehabilitation: With the help of over 300 volunteers, the museum treats over 6,000 orphaned, ill and injured wild animals each year in our wildlife hospital. Our goal is to released these animals back into the wild. Hospital staff and volunteers actively participate in research and awareness campaigns that aid in the preservation of Northern California's unique ecosystems and indigenous animal populations. Environmental Education: Through changing exhibits, school outreach programs, and a collection of non-releasable wildlife, the museum provides comprehensive education programs to over 100,000 people each year. Schools are given access to much the museum's large collection of educational resources, including live and preserved native animals, museum docents, wildlife experts and classroom facilities.
