Causes: Community Recreational Centers, Sports
Mission: To (a) assist senior citizens in obtaining more rewarding, satifying and pleasurable conditions, (b) promote better understanding and improve relationships between people of all economic levels, (c) stimulate existing local entities to make consistent efforts to mobilize the variety of resources necessary to the total development of senior citizens, and (d) coordinate the work and programs of the lind senior center with the efforts fo those existing local entities.
Programs: The center provides meals each week to senior citizens who can no longer cook for themselves as well as other community members. The center provides a warm, friendly environment for senior citizens, many who have lost their spouse, to communicate and interact with other seniors and community members.
