Programs: The program goal of the trust is to serve orphan and destitute hawaiian children and their families. The focus is on strengthening families so they can raise healthy, resilient children. This work is carried out by a staff of approximately 163 employees that include social workers, administrative and support staff operating from 11 offices throughout the state. In 2016 the queen lili'uokalani children's center provided direct services to 12,230 orphan and destitute children. Through its community buildings efforts, the children's center partnered with community organizations through 46 collaborative projects.
