Causes: Blind & Visually Impaired Centers, Disabilities, Human Services
Mission: Support visually impaired persons
Programs: Industrial training division: industrial training and employment in manufacturing and service-related jobs for over 79 legally blind workers teaching them life and vocational skills and providing them the opportunity to make their own living and live independently.
rehabilitation training division: the rehabilitation and training division provided services to more than 4,500 blind and visually impaired clients including low vision and exams, computer and office training, diabetes education, vocational evaluations, and referral services.
community services division: over 5,200 persons were served in day activity centers, activities for children and youth, and assisted living services provided for deaf blind multi-disablity clients.
