I started volunteering for service hours not knowing what I was getting myself into. God works in such miraculous ways, this program has changed my life entirely. I am so grateful to the staff and to the people that volunteer their time to help people like me, that didn't even know how deep I kept lying to myself and lived with a distorted image of God for most of my adult life. Thank you LHJ for steering my life into the right direction and helping me have a healthy relationship with my loved ones, be at peace with my past, and live in the present.

Nonprofit Overview
Mission: We are an international spiritual program that empowers and supports people towards the road to forgiveness, acceptance, and growth. Through a blend of formal talks, common prayer, private reflection, and small group sharing we have successfully transformed thousands of lives and continue to heal hearts all over the world! Life’s Healing Journey retreats are open to people of all christian traditions.
Target demographics: people controlled by past experiences of abandonment, mistreatment, physical or sexual abuse, people who have experienced divorce or the end of a significant relationship, people with addictions, people dealing with traumas of sickness, death of a significant other, etc.
Direct beneficiaries per year: Several hundred people in the United States!
Geographic areas served: Aurora with the Missionaries of the Sacred Heart
Programs: Weekend Retreats, Parish Retreats, and Seminars, and individual pastor counseling to deepen and continue inner healing process.
