With its countless educational sessions, conferences, seminars, and workshops, leadingage il works to advance its members' understanding of the most important issues in the adult care industry.
leadership academy: the mission of leadership academy is to develop leaders who are passionate, empowered, visionary and committed to life-long learning so they are able to successfully advocate for older adults while evoking excellence within their organizations. Learning objectives include understanding the components of leadership required to transform the future of aging services, adopting the characteristics of a successful agent of change, exploring advocacy, building trust within an organization, understanding the skills that drive innovation, discovering new technologies, and embracing a holistic approach. The year-long program is available to anyone who works for a leadingage il member organization, irrespective of clinical or managerial experience. Fellows attend four two-day sessions during the program year.
