Mission: The focus of our organization is to improve the lives of our clients by increasing their skills, fostering their hopes and providing direction. Our Center is committed to the belief that education is essential in creating systemic change in the educational process for vulnerable populations so that they can overcome the barriers of illiteracy and poverty.
Programs: Our mission is realized through education within the following areas: literacy, English-as-a-second-language (ESL), computer skills training, Internet access, nutrition, parenting, health, and other life-long learning education. Children of adult learners are taught pre-literacy and school readiness. We serve low-income immigrant women, ages 17-70, and their children, ages 2-5 years.
