Causes: Leadership Development
Mission: Our mission is to empower leaders to transform the community. In the last year, we helped our members define that mission by focusing on connections in our local community and our region. At the same time, we undertook a strategic transformation of our own, and asked how we can better serve the graduates of 27 years of Leadership Howard County. We launched new programs and ideas to keep our colleagues connected with each other, and with the challenges and opportunities facing our community in the future. We strengthened our partnerships with businesses and sponsors, and our classes took on creative service projects that had a significant impact on the community. In the coming year, we will continue to work toward our 2020 Vision of being the critical force in preparing, inspiring, connecting and sustaining community leaders to make Howard County the best place to live, work and play.
