Programs: Academic year program (ayp) - offers opportunities for high school students from asia and europe to spend an academic year in an american high school with an american host family. The program places approximately 90 exchange students each year.
kakehashi - provides a fully funded, two-week study tour to japan for american middle, high school, undergraduate, and graduate students and their teachers.
japanese language education assistant program (j-leap) - goal is to create opportunities through teaching assistantships to nurture a new generation of qualified teachers of japanese language.
