Mission: The Lark Street BID is a not-for-profit organization that works to build, sustain, and enhance a unique and prosperous living and business community for the residents, visitors, and merchants of the Lark Street Neighborhood of Albany, NY.
Programs: The Lark Street BID provides core neighborhood services centered on Neighborhood Safety, Neighborhood Marketing and Special Events and Promotions. The Neighborhood Safety Program provides administrative support, materials and training for a volunteer neighborhood watch, as well as close collaboration with local police to distribute crime prevention and enforcement information. The Neighborhood Marketing Program is designed to enhance the image of the Lark Street Neighborhood and assure continued residential and commercial occupancy. The Special Events and Promotions Program offers a year round calendar of dynamic events and social occasions to celebrate the Lark Street Community.
