Mission: The foundation engages in and promotes not-for-profit charitable,scientific, and educational activities in the fields of naturalhistory, conservation, and environment.
Programs: Preservation of natural, diverse, undeveloped ecosystems,and the restoration of developed lands escpecially thoseinvolving creek and river bottoms and wetlands, with a priority on such lands threatened by development; encouragement of scientific and educational activities on these lands as they serve as living museums and outdoorlabratories, thereby improving knowledge and understandingof the variety, distribution, and maintenance of our current and past natural heritage.
