Causes: Arts & Culture, Music
Mission: The specific objectives and purposes of this corporation shall be: to support music education for students with special needs and support music education for mainstream students. The main goals are to teach musical performance skills: singing, dancing and playing musical instruments. The foundation will promote music performances by our students locally and around the world. Discovering special needs musical groups from different states and countries as well as promoting joint performances and cultural exchanges for musical groups with and without special needs.
Programs: Dj vu jazz band and dj vu too are jazz band and vocal combos compiled of 48 children who rehearse weekly and perform regularly locally and abroad. From the city of santa claras art and wine festival, to the cities tree lighting, triton museum openings, 9/11 observances, arbor day celebration, masonic lodge celebrations, city of santa clara fireworks grandstand, street dance to name a few. These two groups have also had the privilege of touring in europe three times with another trip in the planning for summer 2014. These tours have included the montreux jazz festival, viene jazz festival, juan les pins, and the umbria jazz festival.
