Working through a network of high-perfoming,community-based schools and a portfolio of programs that reach students throughout la county,the la promise fund creates vibrant community hubs and partnerships that foster motivated,engaged, and directed students poised for academic, professional, and personal success.
Programs: Wraparound services - promise parent- provides a full program of parent-focused offerings and supports each school's full-service parent center - college access experts works with each campus college counselor to navigate and assist students through the college application process with the goal that every student applies to at least one college or university before graduation. 7 to 7 - partners with community organizations to expand and deepen enrichment activities available for students. Health and wellness - empowers students to evaluate their current lifestyle habits and enable healthy choices.
teachers & leaders innovative education: connects teachers with the best resources available to transform public school classrooms into a place of excitement and inspiration. La promise is dedicated to supporting blended learning and linked learning across its campus. The intern project-places students into amazing intership and mentorship experiences. Girls build la - empowers girls to make social change through stem priniciples, civic engagement and a 21st century skillset. Artsmatter- addresses need for the arts in public education through teacher support and program services.
