Causes: Boards of Trade
Mission: Knowledge alliance was organized to advance educational development and research; to maintain and strengthen relations and the status of organizations engaged in educational development and research; to engage in educational research and development; to present, publish and disseminate research and development based information, ideas, and concepts of all kinds that contribute to or are related to education and educational development and research and generally to do any and all things, deeds or acts necessary or proper and to exercise all powers to advance and promote education and educational development and research as may be permitted by the non-profit corporation act of the district of columbia.
Programs: To define the knowledge-based education industry by developing and understanding its competitive forces; to establish quality standards and a code of ethics for the education industry; to maintain a favorable policy context so the industry can grow, develop, and provide proper training programs that will enhance expertise specific to the educational industry; to develop a demand for the industry's services and ideas; to determine what additional research-based knowledge is required for specific educational areas and develop industry-specific knowledge required to advance the efficiency and effectiveness of the industry; and to provide interested congressional members and their staff with information about the knowledge industry association.
