I have always been an animal lover, but specifically for cats. In the past I have always donated to the large rescues: Utah Humane Society, Best Friends, etc. But a couple of years ago I ran onto Tash’s Fury Friends Sanctuary on Facebook. I have been so impressed with Mellisa’s dedication to this sanctuary what she accomplishes, how she manages to care for so many and her compassion for these animal. And apparently does it with donations from the public. Now my donations go to this sanctuary, only. It isn’t a lot but I hope it contributes a bit to her mission. I only wish I had a million dollars, I would donate it to Tasha’s Fury Friends Sanctuary.
I visited Tasha's Furry Friends Sanctuary to adopt a cat. I was so impressed with the obvious love and devotion with which the cats are treated. Our host knew every cat's name, life story, and medical needs in the cases of special needs cats--and that's a lot of cats to remember everything about!
The cats seem very happy. I know it requires a lot of work and funds to provide them with this special sanctuary where they can be safe and happy. It's all worth it to see a cat like Milo. He was mistreated before coming to Tasha's and has irreparably injured hind legs so he can't run or climb very well and wouldn't have survived without Tasha's Furry Friends' care. Now he he happily escorts you on your tour in exchange for scritches.
I was very impressed with the service Tasha's provides for these precious animals and know that any donations of time or funds are put to excellent use saving and loving cats in need.
I am supporting this wonderful place from as distance. I was so excited it's in Utah and not that far from me. I hope to visit. I have donated some money and will continue. They have a "specialty" but help any sweet kitty that needs them . In my communication with Tasha I felt the care and dedication in her words.
I have had Cats my entire life. I live alone ...no children other than Furry ones! This is Stinky 4 yrs... love this... handsome boy!!
This is her passion. I hope everyone will support them to continue this very special and much needed service to our fluffy friends.
I had a cat that needed to be rehomed. No one would take her, it was during the pandemic. She was going to be put down. Tasha's went out of their way to help me. They were able to find her a home. They were awesome to work with and I am eternally greatful for their help.
I donate as often as I can to them and I know their dedication to the kitties in their care is number one. I love Tasha's!
Tashsa's is always so grateful for anything you can give. I love all the wonderful updates on all on the cats! They do such a great job to keep all the cats healthy, happy, safe and loved!
I adopted the sweetest kitty from Tasha’s Furry Friends after volunteering with them for a few months. They create a home for so many abandoned or feral cats in the Cache Valley area, and even make sure that the kitties with medical conditions or disabilities are able to be fed and have access to the medication or surgeries they need.
This organization greatly needs more support from the community to continue caring for the special needs of many of its feline friends. I’d love to see TFF continue to grow and make a difference in our community.
Look how much healthier Peaches is since TFF first rescued her!
They take care of so many kitties that otherwise would be dying horrible deaths. They have saved so many.
Hard work for kitty's sake. Tashas Furry Friends IS a sanctuary for kitties. Melissa has saved so many kitty lives from various fates and I am eternally grateful for what she does. I have been making money donations and sending supplies through Chewy for years. After having nice conversations with Melissa, who's family owns the property, I decided to drive the 2 hours north to visit and drop off some food/treats and supplies. The cats have outside and inside area to roam and climb and be safe. Lots of napping areas. At the time I visited, Melissa had a helper who was able to volunteer once in a while- mostly she is on her own.
It is A LOT of work and very expensive caring for special needs & senior kitties, but Melissa does what she can and it is obvious that she loves them.
If I had a wish for Tasha's Furry Friends Sanctuary, it would be for all the medical bills to be taken care of, the buildings to get some nice upgrades and, of course, all the kibble and litter the kitties could want.
I trust this nonprofit and I want it to continually succeed in what is very important work.
Thank you, Tasha's Furry Friends!
We adopted a kitten from them in 2018. The kitten's name, now a cat, is Ripley, and she is my husband's baby. They do great work saving animals that others have discarded. I appreciate all of the work that they do.
I have been out to the facility and the kitties are happy they have a place to sleep, eat and be safe. Melissa really cares about the amazing kitties that live at the sanctuary.
I have assisted with Tasha’s Furry Friends since the beginning. I even adopted my cat from them and have many friends who also have adopted from them. Their cats and kittens are the most social and friendly I have ever met. Melissa loves all these cute kitties and that runs over to those who come to visit. It has been my privilege to work with Tasha’s Furry Friends on their board and as a volunteer and donor. I love this sanctuary and all they stand for. They have many cats that have disabilities or are feral to everyone but those who come and volunteer. These sweet kitties have been given a new life and are thriving in their new home.
