Causes: Animal Protection & Welfare, Animals
Mission: To rescue and rehabilitate small dogs, mainly chihuahuas, out of the shelters and find permanent and loving families for their adoption. Also to provide very low cost vet services to low income animal owners serving the community.
Programs: To rescue and rehabilitate unwanted and imperfect small dogs, mainly chihuahuas for adoption to loving families giving the dogs permanent homes. Also, project flying chihuahua flys dogs to the east coast to the spca for dog adoption there. Approximately, 1100 dogs were bailed out of the shelters for transport to the east coast spca and approximately 150 dogs and cats were maintained and adopted out locally.
