Mission: The kenya orphanage project supports orphans in boarding schools in nairobi, kenya. In 2016 13 children were supported. The aids epidemic and tribal warfare killed both parents of many kenyan children. Kop saw the need to help the many homeless children living in squalor in the kenyan slums. Kop and friends of the kenya orphanage project will support the children in the following ways: - through primary, secondary and college education, to expand the possibilities for a brighter future. - through research and overseeing of quality, cost effective and safe boarding schools. - through transparent and fiscally sound practices.
Programs: Housing, supervision, school tuition, clothing, supplies and other assistance was provided to children dismissed from their former orphanage.
support house of hope which houses and educates many of the children supported by kenya orphanage project. Support provides for new uniforms, field trips, medical clinic and other expenses.
