Mission: Excellence in scholarship and character is the goal of a kent denver education. The school seeks to build a caring, diverse community of responsible citizens. To that end, the school provides a challenging college preparatory curriculum and sets high ethical standards.
Programs: Kent denver school is an independent school for grades six through twelve, providing a sound academic education to its students in an environment that nurtures their social and emotional growth. The school's objective is to work with families to encourage intellectual curiosity, independent thinking, and moral development in students, and to establish a foundation for learning in college and throughout life. The school provided educational instruction for approximately 698 students. During the most recent school year (2016 - 2017) the school provided financial assistance to students totaling $2,528,697. The school also conducts the "breakthrough program" which it offers rigorous academic curriculum for motivated denver public school students at no cost to the students or their families. Approximately 180 middle school students, primarily from low-income families, participated in the six-week program, which is taught by high school and college students.
