Mission: The North Florida Chapter of The Juvenile Diabetes Foundation was founded in 1970 by parents of children with diabetes that felt there was a need for diabetes research and funding. Through the effectiveness of operations 85% of every dollar goes directly to research. Other programs are providing outreach and support to newly diagnosed children and families.
